Excessive Sweating Cure and Cause

Wednesday, February 28th, 2007

Everybody sweats, it is the bodies natural way of cooling itself. When the body overheats it causes the sweat glands to become active and then we perspire. The sweat, in turn, evaporates off of the skin and creates a cooling effect. There are, however, many people who don’t just sweat because they are warm, these people suffer from a problem that is known as Hyperhidrosis, or profuse sweating. For those that suffer from this problem sweating becomes more than a natural working of the body, it becomes almost a social disease because of all the sweat. So what is the cause of Hyperhidrosis and is there an excessive sweating cure?

Hyperhidrosis can be broken down into two different diseases, primary and secondary. Primary Hyperhidrosis is a problem with the underlying nervous system in which the sweat glands are overactive. The cause of Primary Hyperhidrosis is unknown, but there are a few things that can be done about it if you are willing to go through them. Two of the options are botox and surgery, both of which carry obvious side effects.

Secondary Hyperhidrosis is profuse sweating that is caused by an underlying condition, such as menopause or an infection. There is an excessive sweating cure for those of us that suffer from this type of problem, and that is to attack the problem at the root. If you get rid of the cause that is behind the excessive sweating then you will cure the sweating problem as well.

The first step in finding out the excessive sweating cure that will work for you is to learn what is causing the problem in the first place. Once you know this, then it will be much easier to pinpoint a remedy for your problem.

Natural methods of curing your overactive sweat glands do exist. In fact you can clear up your sweating problem without using one single drug, cream or other medical treatment. They never really work anyway and provide some temporary relief at best. Visit our website for a special report on how you can finally be free from sweating at sweat-stop.info/ sweat-stop.info/

Putting Your Best Foot Forward for Summer

Wednesday, February 28th, 2007

As we get our faces and bodies ready to face exposure during the summer, we also need to remember our feet. After spending winter in socks and shoes, your feet may have taken a beating and you want them to look attractive when you go barefoot or wear sandals. Also, your feet carry the weight of your entire body and deserve some special attention.

Here are some foot care tips to get your feet looking their best for the summer days ahead…

Remove the dead, hardened skin from your feet at least once a week. Start by soaking your feet for about 10 minutes in warm water to soften the dead skin and dirt. After the skin on your feet is soft, use a foot file or pumice to rub away the dead skin and calluses.

After you file your feet, soak them in warm water for another 10 minutes. Add drops of essential oil to moisturize your feet while you soak them. Olive oil works quite well and lavender oil adds a pleasant scent to the water while it softens your feet.

Trim your toenails while they are soft. The proper way to cut your toenails is straight across to avoid ingrown toenails. If you want to shape the corners, use a large emery board.

Make sure your feet are completely dry after you soak them or take a shower. Wet feet are a breeding ground for bacteria, which causes additional peeling. Use a soft towel made from natural materials to dry your feet and in between your toes.

Moisturize your feet with a rich body or foot lotion every night before bed. Because the soles of your feet have no oil glands, it is particularly important to remember to moisturize your feet daily. To maximize the effects of the moisturizer, slather plenty of lotion on your feet and put on socks right away. Wear the socks to bed and the next morning your feet will be noticeably soft and supple.

Try soaking tired, swollen feet in cold water for a few minutes and then rest them up above your head for 10 minutes. You can do this by lying on your bed and putting your feet up on your headboard.

A really quick fix for tired, swollen feet is to take off your shoes and roll your feet over cold cans from the refrigerator.

Another great way to prepare your feet for summer exposure is a professional pedicure, which is the ultimate pampering experience for both women and men. Consider having a foot massage when you go, which increases circulation and feels simply terrific.

With a bit of extra foot care, you will be proud to run barefoot in the sun this summer.

The Lemon Detox Diet Is Now A Bigger Player Than Ever Before

Wednesday, February 28th, 2007

With all the diet plans and weight loss programs out there on the market today, one can easily see why it is difficult to know which is the best plan to follow and what program will bring the desired results. This is the predicament dieters are faced with nowadays with there being no sure-fast solution.

So What Plans Maybe Of Help?

Jenny Craig? The Atkins Diet? Weight Watchers?
All of these I’m sure have great merits and have helped dieters immensely, however, the program that springs to mind to me is The Detox Diet Plan. This diet is such a popular diet now and has actually been established for quite some time. It is not some ‘fad’ that has just arrived on the market.

A Detox Diet is essentially a type of diet in which the eating habits of a person are transformed in order to detoxify the body from poisoness and harmful toxins. These toxins will have built up in the body over time and by employing a program such as the Detox Diet, the body will be cleansed of such impurities. Many candidates engulfing in the program have been pleasantly surprised after discovering just what toxins were actually present in their bodies.

The diet is actually categorized with diets such as The Fast Track One Day Detox Diet, The Raw Food Detox Diet and the Lemon Detox Diet.

Which Diet Is The Best?

Each Detox Diet has it’s own benefits but the Plan I would like to talk about on this occasion is The Lemon Detox Diet (LDD). This diet is effective for both cleansing and weight loss and if your looking for an easy and fast detox then the LDD, is certainly one of the best there is. Many smokers have also opted for this diet to lose the weight they gained after they quit smoking. The plan is not boring or tasteless, although it restricts the intake of certain types of foods

Because of the numerous chemicals that exist in our world, a number of individuals say a LDD, is necessary for good and better health in the long-term. A detox diet is typically very low in calories and in addition, since quality of sleep improves, a calm, energetic state of health is experienced for days after a Detox Diet or LDD is followed.

Weight Loss and the Lemon Detox Diet.

Should you be on a diet plan, or simply hoping to lose weight, the Lemon Detox Diet is great to give your diet that needed boost whilst at the same time purifying your body. You’re just clicks away from starting to lose your unwanted weight and cleansing your body so try to bare all of the above in mind and hopefully this will help point you in the right direction to decide which Diet Plan may be best fitting for you.

Remember, a Detox Diet can help heal migraines, stomach trouble, colds, and joint pain. You can lose weight fast with this weight loss diet program but you have to stick to the plan as designed and always remember to lose weight safely. A Lemon Detox Diet is effective for both cleansing and weight loss.

Diagnosing and Treating Plantar Fasciitis

Wednesday, February 28th, 2007

One of the most common and most debilitating conditions of the feet that people suffer from is plantar fascittis. Don’t let the name confuse you, it doesn’t have anything to do with a guy in a straw hat digging holes in your feet and waiting for his carrots to grow. Let’s break down this confusing name. Plantar refers to the bottom of the foot, ‘fasci’ is the tissue that runs the entire length of the bottom of the foot from the heel to the toes, and ‘ittis’ means inflammation. Plantar Fasciitis is exactly what the name says it is, irritation of the tissue on the bottom of the foot, usually at the heel.
u
But what causes this painful irritation? The causes can be many. Everything from a dramatic change in activities, a complete lack of arch support over a long period of time, a lack of flexibility in the muscles in the calf (stretching really is important!), obesity, injury to another part of the body that causes your walking style to change, wearing shoes with bad support or no cushioning on hard surfaces or just spending too much time on yor feet. It’s no wonder that even with expensive, supportive shoes, Plantar Fasciitis is the number one ailment among restaurant workers.

Diagnosing Plantar Fasciitis isn’t difficult. The ailment is so common, it’s often something your doctor, even your general practitioner can spot without too much trouble. Your doctor will ask you about any recent activities you’ve had that involve extreme stress on your feet, like sports. Once you describe your symptoms to the doctor and your medical history, a diagnosis should be easy but if the doctor is still unsure, he can use x-rays to help.

Treating Plantar Fasciitis runs the gamut from common sense solutions to surgery. Most doctors will recommend a seven to eight week treatment program that usually includes things like stretching exercises to help the affected calf muscles and to help stretch fascia tissue on the bottom of the foot. Massaging the bottom of the foot with ice to help with pain, a change to low-impact workouts like swimming or biking instead of high-impact workouts like basketball or jogging. REALLY good shoes with proper heal and arch supports, taping the bottom of the foot, the use of over-the-counter painkillers like Advil, Tylenol or Aleve, physical therapy, sometimes involving electric stimulation to the bottom of the foot and extensive massage therapy, as well.

Failing that, a doctor might recommend you wear what is called a night splint for a time. The splint immobilizes the foot in a slightly bent position while you sleep to keep the fascia stretched. Another popular treatment is cortisone injections into the foot to kill the pain and even put a cast on your foot from one to three months. The last case scenario is surgery, but since studies have shown that it’s not always successful, doctors are usually not quick to recommend it.
In conclusion, Plantar Fasciitis can be a nasty situation so the best advice you can follow is to take it easy when your feet tell you they are tired, wear a good pair of shoes and watch your weight.

Natural Skin Care Products

Tuesday, February 27th, 2007

Natural skin care products are those medical or quasi-medical creams, oinments, and so on, that are used to keep skin, soft, moist, radiant, and toned. They contain no harmful chemicals that may bring long term negative effects. There are a variety of skincare products available, and many of these products are made of a lot of chemical ingredients that can sometimes be very harmful not only for sensitive skin but for all skin types. The skin is a very sensitive organ, and it requires the utmost care when maintaining its hygiene.

It is recommended that natural skincare products be used instead of skincare products that are manufactured with harmful chemicals. Most natural skincare products are made with 100% natural ingredients and no preservatives. Some of manufacturers of natural skincare products do, however, add preservatives. Natural skincare products are normally made from aloe vera, Dead Sea salt and sand, flowers, and herbs.

Aloe vera is particularly very well known because its effects are clearly visible within a matter of weeks. Even the Dead Sea products are of great demand in many European countries and have excellent cleansing properties. You can also purchase fantastic and highly rejuvenating natural skincare products that are ayurvedic in nature from many online ayurvedic stores. Ayurveda is a holistic approach to medicine and healing, practiced in India. Most of these ayurvedic skincare products are made in India.

There are a host of recipes available that will teach you how to create natural skincare products with a few ingredients from your very own kitchen.

Benefit Of Yoga For Back Pain

Tuesday, February 27th, 2007

Our sitting work style demands us to be in the same sitting posture for long durations and now it has started showing its impact, many of us report of lower back pain and normally resort the quick and crash exercise schedule which instead of benefiting us, worsens the pain. This is because back injuries are often delicate, chronic matters that are resistant to many physically demanding therapeutic solutions.

While opting for rigorous traditional Western exercise, be aware of the fact that it can actually increase pain levels and exacerbate their condition. Though normally many physicians will instruct those with back problems to engage in some form of physical activity to strengthen the area and to reduce overall pain. We too are aware that some kind of exercise is needed, but we also know that exercise could be ruinous.

Off lately people have started having faith in yoga and repetitively recommending to their peers.

Yoga for back pain reduction seems tells the practitioner to focus on bringing mind, body and spirit together and this unified approach is completely holistic and many participants believe the exercise’s well-rounded nature is the most important benefit of yoga for back pain treatment. Yoga treats the body, but it also feeds the soul and mind.

Let me briefly discuss the benefits of yoga for back pain

Yoga is the overall pain management and exclusion strategy and is a great way to transcending into a far less painful life.
Yoga is soothing, meditative and physically challenging exercise plans wherein rigorous movements are not required.
As no quick movements are required by yoga so it is low-impact in nature. Yoga concentrates on developing enhanced flexibility and on stretching out the body.
Because of the slow nature of eth exercises the risk of additional injury or increased pain as a result of one’s workout is reduced to minimal.
And lastly before choosing any of the exercise it is mandatory to get the approval from your doctor/physician.

Certainly with the pace with which yoga is getting popular among the masses, it is going to become the unparalleled way to combat the back pain.

The Simple Method To Quit Smoking Successfully

Tuesday, February 27th, 2007

Beginning of January 2005, I’ve make the biggest and most important decision in my life and that is to quit smoking FOREVER. That night, I said a little prayer to God, “Oh Lord, let this be my last cigarette! FOREVER! Amen.”

Miracle happens. The very next day, I find my self quitting the bad habits! A smoker who smoked 20 cigarettes a day for 12 years, actually quit smoking over night! Thanks God!

During the next few weeks or months, my friends who seen me smoking since I was 13, couldn’t believed that I quit smoking just over night. My managers were puzzled and they couldn’t believe the reasons that I gave to them, “I just quit smoking, like this” and I snapped my fingers. None believe me! Even my close friends said this, “In a month time, I’m sure you’ll be back to smoking!” But I prove them wrong! I have no withdrawal symptoms and no craving of cigarette anymore!

And I know the truth; I quit smoking over night, without pain and suffering! And I enjoyed every minutes of being a non-smoker! Loving and enjoying single moment of it!

Now, before you start to be religious and ask God for that one miracle that you always wanted; I’m sorry to tell you, God didn’t me give that miracle. He only acts as a catalyst (My pastor is going to kill me for saying God didn’t help me in anyway, ha!).

October 2005, I came across an article which reported that there are people who quitted smoking within hours, or even over night! Suddenly, I realized, I’m not the only person who did it! Not only that, a church friend of mine also reported that her dad quitted his 30 plus years of smoking habits, over night!

By the way, my friend’s dad is not a Christian, and therefore, I’m sure God didn’t cure his smoking habits! But I realized something; there must be something that we did right which make us quit smoking so easily! I suddenly thought to my self, if God didn’t help me, who did?

These questions keep popping up in my mind, and I realized, by myself, how easy the whole process of quitting smoking is.

Here are some things that I realized on my own, and might be useful to you if you are trying or if you helping someone you love to quit smoking.

1. Quit smoking just by will power is torturing! I’ve been through this stage. There’s even a time when I manage to quit smoking for 1 month. But every time when I saw someone smoke, or friends offering a cigarette to me, I’ll be back to smoking again. I realized that in order to quit smoking forever, I need MORE than just will power.

2. The process of quitting smoking can be painful, IF you believe so. In my situation, I believe that God will help me to quit smoking, and this actually removes the fear that’s inside me. I no longer believe that the process of quit smoking is painful. In another word, if you believe that quitting is painful, it will be! But if you can “tune” your mindset to believe that quit smoking is enjoyable, then, it will be!

3. Everytime you tried to quit smoking, you’ll feel like you’re short of breath. This is normal. This is just a signal from your lung, “I NEED FRESH AIR”.

In fact, all you need is just some encouragement, and the correct breathing technique, and you’ll become a non-smoker, forever! There are programs out there which will help you to quit smoking without gums and patches. For more information, refer to allstuffreview.com/freshstart

Am I Overweight?

Tuesday, February 27th, 2007

Have you noticed your waist size is going up lately? Then you know you are gaining weight. That’s not to say you are overweight or obese.

If you are an adult and live in the UK, your chances of being overweight are about 4 in 10. You are 20% (1 in 5) likely to be obese. If you live in USA, then the chances of being overweight are higher still.

Practitioners use a figure of merit called the Body Mass Index (BMI). It is a measure of body fat based on height and weight that applies to both adult men and women. BMI is not really applicable to children.

It is easy to calculate you own BMI. Take your weight in kilograms and divide by the square of your height in metres. For example if your height is 1.60 metres, and your weight is 70kg, then your BMI is:

BMI = 70/(1.6×1.6) = 27.34.

Then use the table below to find out if you are overweight.

less than 18.5 –> Underweight: Some health risk
18.5 - 24.9 –> Normal weight. You are within the desired range.
25 - 29.9 –> Overweight: Moderate health risk
over 30 –> High health risk
over 40 –> Morbidly obese: Very high health risk

Discount Nutritional Supplements

Monday, February 26th, 2007

Discount nutritional supplements are those special vitamins and other types of nutrients that can be taken in pill, powder, or liquid forms, and cost a fraction of what they might have cost. When nutritional supplements first hit the markets across the world, they were beyond the means of the common man. The companies claimed that the entire process of creating these supplements was expensive. But then, with research and development, the same companies found ways and methods of lowering manufacturing costs in order to bring discount nutritional supplements to consumers.

These discount supplements contain all essential nutrients, leaving out the more expensive ones, without which no harm would be done to the body. Also, in case a company is looking to promote a new product, they sell the initial batch at discounted rates. Or sometimes a supplement may have been too highly priced, which hurt sales. This causes the manufacturer to sell it at a discounted rate.

Discounting nutritional supplements is a means of attracting consumers. For instance, some companies come up with marketing campaigns like ‘buy two and get the third one free’. There are additional discounts for the larger packets, which appeals to customers.

Some of the discounts given on nutritional supplements that one is so attracted by the deal that whether they need it or not they make the purchase. But then it should be kept in mind that the discount is not what should lead you to purchase supplements, but the requirement for the supplements should be the determining factor.

I Lost My Instruction Book to Life When They Cut My Umbillical Cord

Monday, February 26th, 2007

Before I was born I knew how to do very complicated things, like make sure my heart, brain, and legs developed correctly. I even knew how to breathe underwater. I must have done something wrong because then I got kicked out, slapped, and was forced to breathe air. Since then, everything I’ve learned has been trial and error. It took about a year for me to stand up and walk, and boy, did I fall a lot before that happened. When I tried to talk, but only gurgles and sounds came out. It took about a year and a half to formulate those sounds into words. Then I had all these big people telling me what was “right and wrong”. What to stop doing and what to do more of. Before I knew it, I was supposed to figure out what was right and wrong on my own. It got really confusing when I found out that other people had different ideas of what “right and wrong” was.

I wanted to scream, “Where’s the instruction book? What do I do now? Who’s got the answers?”

The answer is none of us do. We all have to tune in to our Inner Guidance Systems (IGS) and do the best we can. IGS is your personal GPS system. GPS, which stands for Global Positioning System, is a device which is used to show you your exact position on the earth anytime, anywhere. A GPS receiver picks up signals from satellites. Just like you can find your current position with GPS, your IGS is your internal guidance system, your inner wisdom. It’s that place inside of you that has all the answers. It’s usually non-verbal. It’s that inner knowing that you were born with. But when was the last time you actually used it? Do you even know where your IGS is? When was the last time you saw it or heard it? Even more importantly, when was the last time you listened to it, really listened? Because there’s an awful lot of static from other people’s Inner Guidance Systems, which are influenced by political and cultural views (and what we hear from the media), that impact what we think about.

How do you find your own IGS and tune in? Well, you have to start with your body; it’s the only physical thing you have. Just like the GPS receiver which picks up the signals from the satellites, your body is like the receiver that picks up the signals from other people and from the world around you. So when you are talking to someone and your stomach starts to hurt–pay attention (it may not be food related). Pay attention when your energy drains, your brain becomes confused, or you get the feeling that the rug has been pulled out from under your feet. You’re probably with a toxic person. Pay attention when you feel safe, secure, relaxed and when it’s easy to breathe. You’re probably with a person who is supportive and understands and cares for you. (Did you just take a breath when you read the last sentence?)

Which state would you rather be in - toxic or supported? Why then do we often allow ourselves to accept the less desirable state? Because we don’t trust ourselves and our Inner Guidance System. Because we’ve been programmed to be polite instead of aware. On a daily basis, start to watch your energy. How often are you feeling drained and how often are you feeling charged? Knowing this is a start to taking charge of your life and reconnecting with the wisdom you gave away to others, because that’s what they said was best for you. But they lost the instruction book when they lost their umbilical cords, too.
